A brief introduction follows: Welcome to the beginning. Click on the link below to go to the main page where you will be able to select a chapter to read. This story is not for the faint of heart and is set in a forbidding fantasy world that is a shadow of our own. Suppose, for a moment that the Creator did not just create our Universe, but instead created numerous Universes. Also, pretend that there were an "Adam and Eve" (or Lylythe) for each Universe and that neither was predestined to eat the proverbial apple and force the banishment of Man from the Garden. Also suppose that Magic, rather than technology is Man's means of bettering his lot in life. Also suppose that Man is not the only intelligent being in this Universe, but that he must struggle in a world where he is sometimes the prey .
